“The Magnificent Seven Ride” is a 1972 western film and the third and last sequel of the classic 1960 western, “The Magnificent Seven”. Lee Van Cleef stars here as Chris Adams, succeeding Yul Brynner and George Kennedy in the role. To be honest this just tries to ride the wave of the great “The Magnificent Seven” and it doesn´t even come close. Non of the characters are likeable and the storyline just reaches a B-movie standard. The same goes for the direction and dramatisation. Stefanie Powers is a sight for sore eyes, but she gets nothing to work with character wise. And Lee Van Cleef does his best to be as bad ass as he can be with a terrible wig on his head.. Nah, this movie should not be allowed to have a title with “The Magnificent Seven” in it. Pass this one is my recommendation. (2 and a half out of 5)
