Broken Bells return with surprise single ‘It’s That Talk Again

Broken Bells have shared a surprised fans with the release of new song ‘It’s That Talk Again’.
The previously unheard song was recorded during sessions for 2014 album ‘After The Disco’ and is released ahead of concert film Live at the Orpheum airing on US TV this weekend. The duo, James Mercer of the Shins and producer Danger Mouse, filmed their performance at the Los Angeles venue in October 2014 with fans able to watch it at 9pm Saturday (September 26) on the Palladia network.
Broken Bells released their second album ‘After The Disco’ in January 2014. It was the follow up to their 2010 self-titled debut with an EP, ‘Meyrin Fields’, arriving inbetween. (via NME)

Philanthropist Eli Broad’s contemporary art museum, The Broad, is finally opened on Grand Avenue in Downtown Los Angeles. The 120,00 square foot, $140 million project, designed by New York architects Diller Scofidio + Renfro, contains almost 2,000 of Broad’s contemporary art pieces as well as storage, conservation facilities, offices, an auditorium, and an adjacent restaurant and park.
