Rest in peace Peggy. Mostly known as Julie Barnes in the television series The Mod Squad (1968–1973) for which she won a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress and as Norma Jennings, the owner of the Double R Diner, in David Lynch’s television series Twin Peaks (1990–1991). A favourite for sure. #PeggyLipton

Top beaut.

Just finished “Das Boot” which is a 2018 German television series produced for the TV channel Sky and a sequel to Wolfgang Petersen´s “Das Boot” (1981).

Like the original film, the series is based on Lothar-Günther Buchheim’s 1973 book “Das Boot”, but with additions from Buchheim’s 1995 sequel “Die Festung”. As the original film’s plot ends in December 1941, the series’ setting takes place nine months later, in 1942. The storyline is split into two narratives, one based on land around the French resistance, the other set around a German U-boat crew.

The series premiered on 23 November 2018, on multiple European channels of Sky plc. The air rights were sold into more than 100 countries before the series premiered. The series was transmitted on Sky Atlantic in the United Kingdom in February 2019.

In December 2018, plans for a second season were announced.

It´s a well made tv-show, nicely shot and there´s moment´s for sure in it. But, it´s not on a “Babylon Berlin” level and it´s not on Wolfgang Petersen´s “Das Boot” level either. Ok, but nothing more in my book.

“Kick” which was the sixth studio album by the Australian rock band INXS, released in 1987, is by far one of my absolute favourite albums. I still remember when it came out and what an impact it made on me. The songs, the music, the visual album concept, the look of the band and all the great videos. “Kick” became the band’s most successful studio album, certified six times platinum by the RIAA, and spawned four US top 10 singles. I know this album by heart. And it is as good today it was in 1987. INXS was such a great band until the tragic passing of Michael Hutchence. Rest in peace Michael. #INXS #Kick

May the Fourth be with you! #StarWarsDay #4thMay

Absolutely stunning.

Rest in peace “Boon” Gould 1955 – 2019. Boon was an English musician, guitarist and one of the four founding members of the band Level 42. #Level42
