With deep sadness I found out this morning that Robin Williams had passed away during the night. The first time I saw his craziness and brilliance was through the tv-show “Mork & Mindy” which I loved and watched with devotion. After that he gave us many strong and funny performances and I just realised that I liked mostly the roles where his character lived in a shadowland between lightness and darkness. Like Adrian Cronauer in “Goodmorning Vietnam”, John Keating in “Dead Poets Society”, Sean Maguire in “Good Will Hunting” and Henry “Parry” Sagan in “The Fisher King”. Maybe he himself felt so close to those characters in real life and then managed to portray them so well. His passing is a major loss for his family, his friends, the movie industry and the world. Rest in peace and god bless you Robin.
